Sadly no. The problem with parallel imports is file ids, not revision
ids. This is crucial for evaluating solutions.

My consider opinion is history editing for the Ubuntu use case,
otherwise the weight of joined ids (using e.g. path tokens or something
morally equivalent) will be a huge chunk of history.
