Bazaar Explorer now has a new feature where 'Edit' now does something
more intelligent than always launch your text editor. From NEWS ...
* Custom editor applications are now supported. This allows the Edit
action to launch something more sensible than a text editor for
images, diagrams, web pages, office documents, etc. A default set
of editors are defined (in lib/standard_profile/editors.conf) and
these can be extended or overridden by providing a file of the
same name in your explorer configuration directory.
I'd like some input/patches to get the out-of-the-box editors "right"
for each desktop environment. Please take a look at
http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~bzr-explorer-dev/bzr-explorer/trunk/annotate/head%3A/lib/std_profile/editors.conf
and send me patches/suggestions for improvements.
Also, I'm yet to test this on Windows and OS X. Can someone please do
that and let me know how it goes?
Thanks,
Ian C.
