I tried running with --parallel several months ago, and it died in ways
that suggested it was not ready for prime time.  It was long enough ago
that I don't remember the precise failure mode.  I'm glad it works for
someone, but at the time, it wasn't ready for me, a competent developer
on a bog-standard Ubuntu install.
