I believe we said we'd release it when there seemed to be a worthwhile
amount of changes.  There are now 10 bug fixes plus two documentation
fixes in that branch, so it might be good.  Perhaps we should release
and announce them both at the same time, which may be more efficient
(context-switching) for the RM, and also will give us a chance to
explain how they relate to each other.
