bzr-2.0rc2 install errors

Following instructions in the INSTALL file I run:

  $ python setup.py install --home ~

And get:

  The python package 'Pyrex' is not available. If the .c files are available,
  they will be built, but modifying the .pyx files will not rebuild them.

  running install
  error: must supply either home or prefix/exec-prefix -- not both

Note the last line 'error', which is misleading...

Python version is 2.6
