[ANN] Bazaar Explorer 0.8 released

Hi -

I just installed Bazaar Explorer 0.8 in my dev box which has WinXP. One question I have is I am using FTP to push my code to trunk branches in remote server. For that I had to create authentication.conf file in C:\Documents and Settings\MyUser\Application Data\bazaar\2.0 folder and add this entry

# MyServer
[MyServer]
scheme=ftp
host=MyServer
user=username
password=xxx

Does Bazaar Explorer allow to edit this kind of setting?

I also tried to open this from menu

Settings->Rules
Settings->Locations
Settings->Credentials

In all the cases it gave a popup saying
"bzr: ERROR: [Error 2] The system cannot find the file specified."
with two options "Ignore" or "Close".

When I clicked "Ignore" nothing happened but clicking "Close" terminated the entire Bazaar Explorer applications.

I am running WinXP, Bazaar 1.16, Bazaar Explorer 0.8

Maybe this is due to not having latest Bazaar on my side but I thought I'd let you know.

Regards,
Niben

On behalf of the Bazaar Explorer team, it gives me great pleasure to
announce our 0.8 release. While not quite feature compete enough for 1.0
status, this is our most awesome version yet with a pile of new features
to make experienced users more productive and to get new users heading
in the right direction. For downloads and a summary of the new features,
see https://launchpad.net/bzr-explorer/trunk/0.8/.

I'd like to release version 0.8.1 one week from now with updated
translations and any required emergency bug fixes. This release will be
bundled with the Windows installer for Bazaar 2.0.0 so your assistance
with making 0.8.1 as well localised and tested as possible would be
greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Ian C.
