I cleave to this.

My monitor is showing 1920 pixels widthwise.  Almost all of my browser
windows are using 1024.  1920 is Too Wide for me, for a spread of
reasons, which is why I don't make the browser that wide.  If I did,
that would be a signal that I want to see things in it (1920-chrome)px
wide.
