Bug in 1.18 package in Ubuntu Karmic?

FWIW I had the same problem with my version installed from the PPA and had to 
manually modify /usr/share/pyshared/bzrlib/plugins/bzrtools/version.py in 
order to get it working again.

Note that this is also on a karmic system. On my jaunty system bzrtools is 
still at 1.17.
