Installer for Mac OS X 1.4 (Tiger)

Hi,

A colleague, to whom I asked to install bazaar to collaborate on some
documents, encounters the following problem when trying to set it up
on Mac OS X 1.4 (Tiger): the installer requires python 2.5 despite the
fact that he has 2.6 installed and that we downloaded the 2.6 version.
(This is espcially confusing that the installer tells to "upgrade to
python 2.5" when 2.6 is selected.)

Any help will be appreciated,
