Pushing from 2a repository to Launchpad fails

There is a branch on Launchpad:

        Project: SCons_LaTeX
        Status: Experimental
        Get this branch: bzr branch lp:scons-latex
        Update this branch: bzr push lp:scons-latex
        Branch format: Branch format 6
        Repository format: Packs 6 (uses btree indexes, requires bzr
        1.9)

Note the "Update this branch" bit.

I am working from the original branch that was pushed to create this
branch on Launchpad -- though this branch has been upgraded to the 2a
format since then.

Nonetheless, one expects pushing to work since the idea is that the
format of the local branch only has to be processed by the local version
of Bazaar:

        is not compatible with

        different rich-root support

From a very selfish, and indeed stressed, perspective:
'AAaaaaarrrrgggghhhhhhhh........'

It seems that we have a non-locality issue.  Actually I think we have a
"this is f$$$$$ broken" issue.  But as I say, there is an element of
being stressed involved in this reaction.
