Nested Trees (was Re: bzr 1.17rc1 released!)

Hi Martin

Thanks for the update on the progress. Is there still active work
going on in the process? Is there anyway to get things going again if
the process has stalled? I'd really like to have this feature
(although it's not essential yet).
