The command need not to fail - just not open any location after a 
warning dialogue/dialog that could also allow the user to abort or continue.

On a more general note, there is (IMHO) an excellent GUI for SVN called 
KDESVN (if I remember right) that could provide some ideas for further 
development of bzr explorer.
