[RFC] make -n0 the default for log -or- make annotate and similar commands calculate merged revs

Interestingly, qlog is -n1 with progressive disclosure, and it does
(IMO) make for a much better interface than 'viz' which was always -n0
(this may have changed recently, I haven't checked in a while).

Now that doesn't mean we can replicate it exactly in the commandline
versions. But it is an interesting comparison.
