Fantastic!  I missed the start of this thread, but wow.

I was seriously thinking about creating Mono front end.  I was at the
sketching stage a couple weeks ago and realizing that I would probably
implement only the use cases the least experienced members of my team my
team need every day.  You have already gone far, far further.  This is
awesome!

If I understand your plan, bzr-explorer is a pure front-end for bzr and uses
external plugins for everything else.  I think this is smart.  I was tempted
to design something like "Windows Explorer with hooks for bzr" (because
that's what some people *say* they want) and quickly ran into trouble
figuring out how to present the vcs operations in a self-consistent way.
I've used commercial tools that have that kind of interface and the more I
think about it, the more I think that forcing users to *think* about what
they are doing is good.  Keeping vcs separate from file browsing does that
nicely.
