Branch lifecycle statistics?

Hello,

I'm interested in getting branch lifecycle statistics for Launchpad.
In particular, I'm interested in getting statistics on the time
between creating a branch and landing a branch.

I think I can work on the assumption that all the core developers have
roughly accurate clocks. In that case, the date started is probably
the minimum of the date the branch was first created on Launchpad, and
the date of the first revision of the branch. The date merged is then,
roughly, the date of the revision that merges the branch.

Does this sound right? Am I missing anything?
