What I meant was of course:
Otherwise you end up having to remove backup.bzr directories
everywhere, even if you can use something like --find/--recurse to
upgrade them all.
Related to this, I think bzr-gtk should prompt users about upgrading if they
open a branch. E.g. a dialog "This branch is using an older Bazaar format. Upgrade now?" with buttons "Yes", "Not now", "Don't ask me again".
