Crash (and corruption?) after reverting an added directory

Understood.  I think I picked up that habit from Subversion years ago,
and it has been reinforced recently by Mercurial.  Bazaar's syntax is
IMHO perfectly sensible, but it's not hardwired in me.

Of course not!  I deliberately gave a simple artificial scenario in
the hopes that it could be the nucleus of a test script.  (Although I
did not try to trim down the sequence to see if there was a simpler
way to get the crash; just reproducing the crash was victory enough
for me. ;-)
