[MERGE] Nested Trees: revert

Hi all,

This patch implements adds support for nested trees to revert.  Because
this is a somewhat complicated write operation, it is not implemented in
terms of CompositeTree.  Instead, it performs the sion into subtrees
after the main revert.  It is important to do it in this order, because
the top-level revert can create or destroy subtrees.

I expect that eventually, TreeTransform can be customized to support
operations across sets of nested trees, but the current approach is
sufficient for now.
