Bitten by bug #354075, I'll merge it.

I've also set up a branch at lp:~vila/bzr/1.14, based on 1.14 and with 
this patch merged.

bug #354075 being a regression from 1.13 I think it's appropriate to 
include it in 1.14rc1, but I let our RM decide. The branch above is here 
for his convenience.
