I understand.  I agree I don't see this as a core Bazaar feature, the
concept is really rather alien to DVCS operations.  It really is just an
issue for bzr-svn as far as I am concerned, but I guess it then impacts
on bzr-git.

I now have low urgency for this as well as I have switched to using Git
for all my Subversion rebasing, metadata-less client needs.
