The basic issue is that MemoryTree needs to have something mutable, just
like WorkingTrees do. Currently that is provided by Inventory, while
CHKInventory is not directly mutable. The code was assuming it could
just mutate the inventory from a revision tree (as long as it didn't
keep that RT around).
