Wow - I wasn't expecting to create an email firestorm like I did.
It's great to see so many passionate opinions though! :-)

In case anyone noticed in my original email, part of my motivation
for delaying the RC till next week was to give bzr.dev users time
to test the EOL conversion feature, arguably one of the key
features of 1.14. It has plenty of unit tests but that's no
substitute for users sitting down and trying to break it with
exploratory testing.

Can *someone* on each of the major platforms please kick the
tires of the EOL stuff *today* and give it the thumbs up or
otherwise?

Also, jam, jelmer and I want to land a small change to
the public API for registering content filters. I'll put that
together first thing today. This is an "ensuring forward
compatibility" issue. I'll also tweak and land the --include-merges
patch for log today.

Otherwise, my reading of things is that the community would
prefer us not to delay by a week. So, that leaves two options
IMO given the Easter long weekend (Fri-Mon inclusive in Oz):

* RC on 03-Apr (Fri), Final on 09-Apr (Thu)
* RC on 06-Apr (Mon), Final on 14-Apr (Tue)

Brisbane-core aside and thinking just about content filtering,
I vote for the latter.
