Nick is a guy I work with, or someone I knew in high school. I don't
see what either of them have to do with version control. ;-)
No, seriously: I get that "nick" is short for "nickname", but that is
a weird convention that, AFAIK, is limited to IRC and Bazaar. At
least I've never seen it elsewhere. If you mean "branch", why not
just say ... ummm ... well ... errr ... "branch"? Same goes for "bzr
log" output. "Branch-nick: trunk" adds exactly zero value and some
confusion to "Branch: trunk".
