Repository._get_source gets a StreamSource, if you want a different one
for CHK format repositories, just override that method.

If I was hacking directly on this (and once we've got inventory deltas
on the network its certainly up for hacking-on), I wouldn't do that
though, rather I would just fix the current one to be better.
