Feature Request: Accept --whoami option on branch and checkout which sets the whoami for the branch.

I looked for a place to submit feature requests on the launchpad site, but
could only seem to add bug, or ask a question. Please let me know if this is
not the correct place for these.

I'd like to be able to checkout or branch and change the whoami property all
from one line, instead of requiring multiple actions.
