Thanks for working on getting this merged! I've used the GNU changelog
log formatter for a while and it's a big help when I've made many
change and have to produce a meticulously detailed ChangeLog entry as
required by some projects. It's a big time saver.

I think this ‘gnu-changelog’ is the best name for this, since it's not
the only change log format used.
