  I wrote those tests but I don't have much confidence about in which cases the tests should fail, pass, emit warnings, … I appreciate if someone completed them so that they actually assert something instead of just failing.

  The tests which check the link target (in contrast to the link name) are:

   test_sprout_with_unicode_symlink

   test_unicode_symlink
