Newbie: combine repositories?

What I am trying to do is combine multiple branches into one. What I
have done is create several repositories, each with a single branch.
These are really all logically related but not in the repositories.
For example: docs, data & config files and code files for a single
project each in its own repository (3 in total).
I've made this "mess" just toying around to get a feel for Bazaar and
revision control in general. I will not really lose anything except
the notes entered during commits. I understand now I can have each of
these as subdirectories within a single main branch in a single shared
repository. Or at least this is what I think so far :) I really am
learning the workflow and the toolset at the same time.

It seems I was close to saying what I was thinking! :) The answer was
close to what I want to do.
