No, standalone is part of a compound noun, which describes a specific
configuration of repository, branch and working tree.

Heavyweight checkout, lightweight checkout, standalone branch,
repository branch, and shared repository are all examples of these
compound nouns. Each has a specific meaning. Each can be emitted by
"bzr info". "bzr info" will *never* call a standalone branch a
standalone tree. "bzr init" should not contradict "bzr info".

I invented the standalone branch/tree terminology when bzr 0.8 was in
development, to describe them. Prior to this, we had only talked about
"branches", because bzr did not support checkouts or shared
repositories. Now we were distinguishing between repositories, branches
and trees, so we needed terminology that could be used as a shorthand to
distinguish between the various configurations.
