I'm pretty sure Martin implementation reveals latent bugs, I
remember having observed strange behavior when doing some 'bzr
checks' that were taking days.

I view Martin patch as a significant step forward but I think we
will discover a couple (or two) of bugs during the 1.12 cycle.
