So, logging everything for every file would take approximately the
same amount of time?
I just tested this and can (roughly) confirm that.
In that case, is there a plugin that would retrieve metadata for every
revision, index and store the results locally for fast queries?
That could serve as a workaround if maintaining an index at runtime is
really unwanted.
