Removing confidential data from the history

Hallöchen!

I just moved some login/password combinations in a non-versioned INI
file, however, the branch's history still contains those strings of
course.  How can I get rid of them?

I found the remove-revisions plugin but I failed to install it (just
moving the __init__.py into ~/.bazaar/plugins/remove_revisions/
didn't do the trick).

It would be okay to lose all history of the affected files
completely (i.e. convert the history to as if they were recently
created).
