Agreed.

My thoughts as well.

To be explicit, I think this format bump may be important enough
to change the default format from pack-0.92 to 1.12 so that the
new features - EOL & filtered views - work out of the box. I don't
think it's the time to switch to/collapse rich-root though - we should
do that in conjunction with the switch to split inventories IMO.
