Upgrade warning

When I commit changes in my bazaar branch, I get a warning telling me
I should run 'bzr upgrade'. When I run it, I get this:

sandyd at mini9:~/src/wildcat-bzr/trunk$ bzr upgrade
Format <RepositoryFormatKnit1> for
file:///home/sandyd/src/wildcat-bzr/.bzr/ is deprecated - please use
'bzr upgrade' to get better performance
bzr: ERROR: The branch format Bazaar-NG meta directory, format 1 is
already at the most recent format.

Any ideas?
