One big project with multiple small projects

Unfortunately, Config-Manager is not really a suitable substitute for 
this problem. It does not keep track of what revision each sub project 
had at a given revision of the master project so you can't go back in 
time and see all projects as they were (which is kind of the point of a 
VCS).
