bzr-svn on Solaris 10

I use bzr-svn from the 0.4 branch. Till a couple of days ago "bzr
pull ; make" used to work fine. A couple of days ago I did an upgrade
of all the software on the Solaris 10 box -- which includes a lot of
packages from Sunfreeware, including Python. This included an upgrade
of Neon and Subversion. Having installed a few extra libraries that now
seem to be needed that weren't needed before, I get a proper compilation
of bzr-svn, i.e. make completes without error. However, whenever I use
bzr I get:

Unable to load bzr-svn extensions - did you build it?
ld.so.1: python: fatal: libresolv.so.2: open failed: No such file or directory
Unable to load plugin 'svn' from '/home/users/russel/.bazaar/plugins_SunOS_sparc'

libresolv.so.2 is definitely there:

|> ll /usr/lib/libresolv* /lib/libresolv*
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root     14 2007-08-01 19:24 /lib/libresolv.so -> libresolv.so.2*
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root bin   48368 2005-01-23 01:44 /lib/libresolv.so.1*
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root bin  353904 2006-04-21 22:07 /lib/libresolv.so.2*
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root     24 2007-08-01 19:15 /usr/lib/libresolv.so -> ../../lib/libresolv.so.2*
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root     24 2007-08-01 19:15 /usr/lib/libresolv.so.1 -> ../../lib/libresolv.so.1*
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root     24 2007-08-01 19:15 /usr/lib/libresolv.so.2 -> ../../lib/libresolv.so.2*

I think I must be missing something very simple.

PS Everything is working fine on Ubuntu and Mac OS X.
