Currently I have switched from using bzr.dev to using the latest release
from PPA, but if this fix got in to bzr.dev, I would switch back
immediately.

It really would improve usability.  Having all the paths relative to '.'
would make my life so much easier that having to remember to switch back
to 'directory where .bzr is' to do all my command actions.

I'm glad it's not just me that is looking for this change!
