bzr status

This may have been debated previously hence my emailing here first
before writing up a "bug" report...

bzr status always gives the paths relative to the location of the .bzr
directory, which is fine if you are in that directory but a complete
irritation otherwise.

git status gives paths relative to . and this is much better from a user
perspective.  In particular it allows simple mouse selection and paste
of paths.

Is there any possibility of a change in bzr on this?  Or perhaps I am
missing an option / setting to make the output of status more context
sensitive?
