Telling if two trees are different

Thats correct.

iter_changes will still be the cleanest api for telling things apart;
and should be pretty tooting quick.

We should also have an optimised two-step put in place under the hood
for basis->wt composition to get to arbitrary_rev->wt, as part of the
split inventory work.
