repository stats

[Robert Collins]

I'm looking to generate the following stats from repositories:

uncompressed size of inventories, commits, signatures, file texts
[possibly broken down by fileid, or at least a top-5 list]

compressed size (including gz and delta compression) - the incremental
cost for having all of the above.

Both the above need to include CHK inventory data for repositories that
support that.

Anyone have recommendations on the best bit of code to start with to end
up writing this?
