Uncommit problem

I am sure this is an operator error, but on the off chance it is
actually an issue in Bazaar...
I have a branch that is a branch of a Subversion trunk. On this I
applied a patch. I applied the patch. Rebasing does the right thing of
sliding changes to trunk under the changes of the patch. Now I want to
apply an updated patch, so I uncommit the patch and revert the branch.
However if I do a "bzr missing" I get:
You have 1 extra
revision(s):
------------------------------------------------------------
[ . . . ]
So the committed/uncommitted patch is still recognized as being in need
of pushing up to the Subversion repository -- the revision is in the log
so there is a consistency. However this surely is wrong? Isn't the
idea of uncommit to remove the commit from the branch?
