Loggerhead 1.6: installation problems

Hi,

I just downloaded loggerhead 1.6 from its launchpad site and tried to
install it on my web server. I was able to get it up and the running,
however it is
not running properly:

If I invoke
http://ip.of.my.host:8080/

I'm getting:

The problem is that the redirect location is //changes, while /changes
would be correct.
If I invoke http://ip.of.my.host:8080/changes, the revision list is
shown, however none of the images are shown since they are addressed
via //static/images/TreeExpanded.png (or alike). This basically
renders the site unusable, since all links don't work either.

Am I doing something wrong? I also tried to use and change
loggerhead.conf, to no avail.

Any help is appreciated.
