On the one hand no it doesn't except that you get "bzr: ERROR: Not a
branch..." message if you accidentally do a merge or a pull. On the
other hand it irritates my sense of perfection that a branch that is
deemed to be a master mainline is reported as having a parent -- and a
parent that doesn't actually exist.
