Question about OS X 10.4 package installer

Hi,

I'm trying to install bzr on a couple of servers that are stuck on 
Tiger.  I tried the installer at 
http://launchpad.net/bzr/1.5/1.5/+download/Bazaar-1.5-OSX10.4-universal.dmg, 
  and it said "installer: Error - Please update to Python 2.5".

So, I updated to Python 2.5 using MacPorts and tried again — same error.

Then I noticed that /usr/bin/python was a soft link to 
/usr/bin/python2.3, so I changed it to a link to the new python2.5 in 
/opt/local/bin... but still, no go.

Anybody familiar w/ this installer?  What do I have to do to make it happy?
