erm... I'll try to explain better:

Given: a directory, versioned with Bazaar, with files 'a' and 'b'. Now
I edit a and delete b. Now I can say "bzr commit a", but not "bzr
commit b".

Well, I've tried to reproduce the problem on a different machine, but
couldn't (how embarrassing). On this other machine, it works as
expected. The difference should be only that one machine where it
didn't work is Etch/amd64, and the other is Etch/i386. I'll test some
more before bothering you again. Sorry for the noise.
