[MERGE] Implement list_files and PreviewTreePost

Hi all,

This patch gets PreviewTree fully under test.  Until now, only the
boring case has been subject to the tree implementation tests-- that is,
the case where the PreviewTree has no changes versus the underlying tree.

This patch tests the opposite case, where all of the contents of the
PreviewTree are changes versus the underlying tree.  Between them, we
can be reasonably assured that PreviewTree will honour the Tree
interface, whether or not changes have been made.  There are also tests
in test_transform that check behavior when some results are unchanged
and others are changed.

I've bundled the list_files changes with this, because the list_files
changes are too complicated to try to replicate in test_transform.
