Just tried again but got the error again:

Secure Connection Failed

lists.canonical.com uses an invalid security certificate.

The certificate is only valid for the following names:
  lists.ubuntu.com , www.lists.ubuntu.com 

 (Error code: ssl_error_bad_cert_domain)
