Apologies, I miss-remembered the original discussion on this.
Currently the emacsclient sub-cases for "message-user-agent" and
"gnus-user-agent" explicitly set Content-Disposition to
"attachment". If "inline" is preferred, it ought to be set there too
-- I'll send the trivial patch that does this.
