[MERGE] Update to bzr.dev.

OK, I've just sent the updated version of this through to PQM.

As Robert pointed out (a bit subtly) in the original submission, this
removes RemoteToOtherFetcher and get_data_stream_for_search, so we'll
want to put in updated equivalents soon.  I'll try to work on that
with Andrew this week, and also make a new 1.6beta with this.
