more debian (and other) packaging of plugins?

 - Adeodato Simó
 - Chris Lamb
 - myself.

I was not talking about random people, but rather about people that do
already maintain the package in debian. Which included the designated
packaging team and potential NMUers, but I acknowledge that you have a
different opinion.

My main point was rather about sharing packaging branches to avoid
unnecessary work and closer coordination.
